In comparison to cytotoxic therapy, complicance and quality of life is much better with endocrine treatment. It has an added advantage that if the disease becomes resistant to one group of drugs, it may still respond to another group of endocrine agents. As a general rule, only one agent is used at a time and the drug is changed only if the disease is advancing, not if it is static.</td></tr></tbody></table> ER -
