Abstract
The entry of balloons and umbrellas has not only changed the scenario in the cardiac catheterization laboratories but has also revolutionized the whole outlook in the world of cardiology. The emphasis in cardiac catheterization laboratories is drifting away from the diagnostic implications to the reaping of therapeutic benefits, by employing balloons and umbrellas.
